Yang Management Inc. Awarded Los Angeles Community College District Multiple Award Task Order Contract (September, 2014)
50 Year old Firm Continues its Relationship with LACCD on Campus Projects
Los Angeles, CA — Yang Management Inc. (YMI) is a construction management and program management firm that provides services to numerous institutions throughout Southern California. They are one of ten firms to be awarded a task order contract from the second largest school bond program in the United States. This contract is for a five-year period with a total value of $82.9 million from the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD).
Programs run by Yang Management encompass the development and construction of new facilities and modernization of existing facilities. For example, recent projects completed at Los Angeles Valley College include:
- The Library and Academic Resource Center
- The Student Services Center
- The Monarch Parking Structure
Ms. Shaw’s affiliations include the Asian American Architects and Engineers, the Asian Business Association, the President’s Circle at Los Angeles Valley College and the High Speed Rail Business Advisory Council and many other small business organizations. She supports and volunteers for organizations such as World Vision and Feed the Children. Ms. Shaw received her B.A. from UCSD.
